Brendan (Barney) Reilly, Director, Head of Financial Planning, passionate about Family, Community & Sport.
Brendan started Eolas Money in 2009 with his friend and colleague Jim and heads up the personal financial planning side of the business. As a former Chairperson and Board member of Financial Planners Ireland, Brendan is passionate about Financial Planning and the difference it can make to our client’s abilities to meet their goals and enjoy their lives.
Brendan is married to Ciara, and with his two daughters now in university, as an empty nester he gets to spend lots of time travelling and attending sport, two of his passions.
Jim Stapleton, Director, Head of SME Financial Planning, Rugby Referee & Limerick GAA supporter.
Jim graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2002 and completed his MSc. in Financial Planning via UCD in 2015. Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a member of Financial Planners of Ireland (FPI), a member of the Irish Tax Institute (TMITI).
Jim leads the delivery of financial planning to our SME clients, advising business owners, their families and the business itself on various financial planning and wealth management strategies to maximise shareholders wealth.
Jim is married to Trish and they have two sons, Paddy & Jamie and they live in Garryspillane, Co. Limerick. In between attending underage hurling, football and soccer with the boys, Jim is a rugby referee with Munster Rugby and is a Limerick GAA & Manchester United supporter.
Joining Eolas Money in 2023 as Head of Operations, Julie brings extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Working closely with the Eolas Money Management team, she provides clarity of thought and strategic direction to the design and delivery of the Eolas Money service offering. She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Limerick. Julie is married to James and is mum to four busy children who keep her on her toes. She has a passion for writing and recently took a creative leap into the world of children’s literature. She also enjoys baking, exercise, and fast-paced walks while jamming to her favourite tunes.
Joining the Eolas Money team in 2022, Emma heads up administration for Eolas Money. Working closely with both management and clients, she ensures the highest standards of service and enhancing client relationships. Outside work, Emma enjoys exploring hidden gems around Ireland with her two children and volunteering in the local community.
Leah Maguire, Financial Advisor, Sports Enthusiast, Shopaholic.
Leah joined the Eolas Money team in 2023 and qualified as a Financial Advisor in 2025. She works closely with our senior financial planners, gaining hands-on experience while completing a Level 8 BA (Hons) Degree in Insurance Practice. In 2024, Leah was proudly awarded Apprentice of the Year in recognition of her outstanding progress and dedication to her professional development.
Outside of work, Leah plays football with her local club and enjoys hybrid training to support her fitness goals. She also has a strong interest in nutrition and takes every opportunity to travel and explore new places.
